BES 101 Basic Concepts of Nutrition and Dietetic (2-0-2)

The aim of this course is to introduce students dietetian job and nutrition and dietetic education.  This course also includes: application for the profession, current regulation, professional ethics and deontology, the introduction of national and international organizations related to the profession, the main sources for the profession and access roads.

KİM 101 General Chemistry I (2-2-3)

The aim of this course is to understand students to be knowledgeable about the basic concepts and basic law of chemistry. This course also includes: classification of substance, basic law of chemistry, structure of atom and theories of modern atom, chemical compounds, chemical reactions, mixes, liquor. Practical lessons also include besides the theoretical lessons.
ANA 101 Anatomy I (4-0-4)

The aim of this course is  to recognize body system and functions and relationship with each other. In this course, login into the anatomy, anatomy of musculoskeletal system, neuroanatomy, respiratory system, circulation system, digestion system, urinary system, reproductive system, endocrine system, nevre system are introduced. 
BİY 101 Medical Biology and Genetic  (2-0-2)

In this course, students generally understand structure of cell, organelles, living system and relationships of cells with each other 
In addition, biomolecular, energy metabolism, qualification of genetic material, the basic principle of heredity, biotechnology, association with mutation and nutrition genes issues given in this lesson.

SOS 101 Sociology (2-0-2)

In this course, features and forms of sociology and sociological concepts are introduced. Students will evaluate the scientific organization of course also human relationships in today's society, culture, the interaction of the individual and society, the results of the process of socialization, group, and organization of social stratification, under the influence of current trends and developments in the economy and business life, family and marriage, kinship, education, basic social understands how to situate in the wider context of institutions, reviews the experience of their life.

TD 101 Turkish Language I (2-0-2)

At the end of this course, students understand the link between language and culture. They will recognize Turkish place among the languages, they will explain and apply the rules of spelling, Turkish phonetics, morphology and syntax. Course content; What language is, language and culture, its place among the world languages, the historical development of Turkish language, syntax.

BİL 115 Basic Information Technologies I (1-2-2)

In this course students learn the concepts of computer hardware and software, The students can be define various computer software and use office software effectively, define the basic concepts of computer network. Course content, computer hardware and software components that make up the data storage and transfer, and responsibilities of the modern information society, the importance of information, data, security, operating systems, office programs, specifications, presentations, spreadsheets, computer networks, the basic concepts and definitions, components of computer networks and types of internet usage.

ATA 101 Ataturk’s Principles and History of Turkish Revolution I (2-0-2)

The aim of this course is to provide students to understand aim of Turkish revolution and features.
Course content:  The concept of revolution, decaying of ottoman empire and causing to preparing Turkish revolution, crashing of Ottoman empire, situation of country during invasions and rebound of Mustafa Kemal pasha, opening of TBMM, national struggle about education and culture, strategy of Turkish revolution, proclamation of the republic.

YD 101 English I (4-0-4)

In this course, students understand what they read and write at a basic level, they understand what they listen and can respond. Course content: Talking, verbs, place, people, preferences, frequency adverbs, questions and answers, past tense, regular and irregular verbs, making travel plans and the use of adverbs.

BES 103 Turkish  Cuisine Culture (1-2-2)

The aim of this course is to provide students to be knowledgeable about the general characteristic of Turkish cuisine. The course also includes the processes of historical development of Turkish cuisine and Turkish Culture.

IB 101 Communication Skills I (1-2-2)

In this course, students understand basic concepts and pattern of communication and achieve effective communication skills. The course also includes doing empathy, active listening, solving communication problems, establishing successful communication.


BES 102 Demographical Structure and Health (2-0-2)

The aim of this course to teach basic demographical concepts,  component and indicators,  relationship between population, nutrition and health.  In this course, overview the concept of demography, data sources, evaluation of Turkey’s and the world population policy, the effective factors on the population, population growth rate, birth and death rate, migration, urbanization, fertility rates in our country and affecting factors, nutrition and health are introduced. 

KİM 102 General Chemistry II (2-2-3)

In this course students develop knowledge basic concepts of chemistry and application. They also learn liquids, solids and intermolecular properties, solutions and physical properties, chemical kinetics, chemical balance, acids and bases, resolution and ion balance, electrochemistry, organic chemistry, photometric quantitative analysis methods, protein determination methods, redox reactions, reaction rate, chemical equilibrium and experimental studies.

FZY 102 Physiology I (4-0-4)

At the end of this course, students will define and explain parts of the organism, communication of this parts,  relationship of the organism with the environment,  physical and chemical factor at the beginning of the life, continued viability of the various features and mechanism.In this course, cell physiology, nerve physiology, muscle physiology, blood physiology, circulatory system physiology, respiratory system physiology, digestive tract and metabolism physiology, excretory system physiology, endocrine system physiology, sensory system physiology, central nervous system physiology, homeostasis are introduced.

İKT 101 General Economy (2-0-2)

The aim of this course to give information about basic concepts of economy, basic economic problems, economic systems, login into price theory, consumer equilibrium,  theory of the firm, national accounting concepts, basic macro economic problems. 
In this course, definition of economy, methods, basic concepts, supply and demand concepts, elasticities, consumer behavior, production costs, balance of the manufacturer, market equilibrium, competitive market, monopoly market are introduced. 

PSK101 Psychology (2-0-2)

At the end of this course, students will explain and discuss basic concept of psychology, history of science and sub-areas, basic information of sub-areas, which methods can be used in psychology research. The course also includes basic concepts, research methods in psychology, psychology of learning, life-long developmental psychology, social psychology,  psychological behavior in each phase of human life. 

TD 102 Turkish Language II (2-0-2)

At the end of this course, students will recognize expression disturbance and they will develop  
written and oral expression. In this course, expression disturbance, written expression and species, oral expression and species, investigation of literary value products are introduced.

BİL 116  Basic Information Technologies II (1-2-2)

In this course, as a continuation of Basic Information Technologies I, basic spreadsheet and database process, statistical analysis package and application, information systems, decision support systems are introduced.

ATA 102  Ataturk’s Principles and History of Turkish Revolution II (2-0-2)

In this course, establishment of the republic of Turkey and basic principle, Kemalist thought threads are introduced.  The course also includes transition to multi-party period, foreign policy, geopolitical situation of Turkey, Ataturk and public life, revolution. 

YD 102 English II (4-0-4)

This course is continuation of English-I  and this course includes login to intermediate level of English. The aim of this course is to encourage  students to develop all language skills. Exercises are processing with listening, verbal communication,  reading comprehension skills or combination of all of these activities.

BES 104 Cuisines of the World (1-2-2)

The aim of this course is to provide students to understand relationship between culture and food and to recognize different country eating habits.  

IB 102 Communication Skills II (1-2-2)

In this course, as a continuation of Communication Skills- I basic concepts and models, effective and oral communication skills, active listening, discussions oral presentation skills and speaking in front of the community are introduced.
